The JADE Foundation was born out of a profound need to address the mental health disparities affecting the Black community. Recognizing the deep-rooted stigma and systemic barriers that often prevent individuals from seeking care, we set out to create a space where healing and wellness are not only encouraged but celebrated.
Our Story
Having experienced the tragic loss of a close family member to suicide, JADE's founders are deeply committed to breaking down these barriers and ensuring that the "TRUTH BE TOLD." This truth lies in confronting the challenges, embracing vulnerability, and fostering a culture of openness where mental health is prioritized and supported.
Inspired by the symbolic strength and harmony of jade, our Foundation embodies resilience and renewal. Through tailored programming, advocacy, and direct services, we strive to provide the tools and resources necessary for individuals and families to thrive.
Our journey is about more than addressing challenges; it's about creating a legacy of growth, balance, and collective well-being. At the JADE Foundation, we believe that mental health is a right, not a privilege—and together, we’re shaping a future where everyone can flourish.
