Dr. Anita H. Reed, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker and therapist who specializes in the treatment of adolescents, adults, and families. Dr. Reed has more than 35 years of experience as a clinician, clinical supervisor, program manager, and as developer and analyst of child welfare programs. She currently is in private practice and is CEO of NobleTrust Consulting, LLC. 

Dr. Reed has a particular interest in depression in Black men and has presented at local and national conferences and has been featured on radio and podcast programs.  

Dr. Reed has served as an adjunct professor at Catholic University’s National School of Social Services and George Mason University. She currently serves a counselor in the Pre-Marital Ministry at Alfred Street Baptist Church and a past President of AGAPE Ministry, the church’s mental health ministry.

Dr. Reed graduated from Vassar College with a B.A in Sociology, received her Masters in Social Work from Columbia University, completed her doctoral studies in Social Work at the National Catholic School of Social Services at Catholic University, and received a Certification in Educational Leadership from George Mason University.
